Steppin` Out 2011 Recital Ad & Cover Girl/Boy Information
We are happy to announce the kick off to our 2011 Ad & Cover Girl/Boy Contest.
We have a lot of new and exciting things happening this year!
It is mandatory for all students that participate in the revue to purchase the minimum quarter page picture in the front of the book ($60.00). You may offset
that cost by selling ads. If you sell $90.00 worth of ads, your quarter page picture in the front will be FREE! The more ads you sell, the more pictures you
will receive in the front of the book and the more incentives you may receive. If you have more than one child and you choose to purchase the minimum
$60.00 ad, all children must take a group picture together to go in the book. Below you will see how many pages you will receive in front of the book if you
sell a certain dollar amount of ads. We do not round up, so you must either reach or pass the amounts shown to receive your pages in the front.
If you sell in ads… You will receive this many pages of pictures in the front FREE…
$2000 or more 4 pages total (3 pages in the front & 1 colored back cover if Cover Girl)
$1500 3 pages in the front & ½ page ad FREE in the back of book!
$1000 3 pages in the front
$750 2 pages in the front (Automatic Court Member!!!)
$350 1 page in the front of book & 1 FREE Shout Out in the back!
$180 ½ page in the front of book
$100 ¼ page in the front of book
Where you will find your pictures:
All ads that you sell will be placed in the back of the book unless you specify otherwise. However, if you choose to purchase a half page in the front of
book without selling ads, you will not receive any free pictures. So we recommend that you purchase ads to be placed in the back of the book so you can
receive your free pictures in the front of the book. If you are purchasing the minimum $60.00 picture ONLY, it will be placed in the front of the book and
you will NOT receive any additional free pictures. If you are going for Top Ten or Cover Girl/Boy, and you win; you will find your pictures first in the book.
We place them as follows…Cover Girl/Boy, 1st Runner Up, 2nd Runner Up, Followed by the rest of the Court Winners.
THIS IS NEW!!!---> We will have a Steppin` Out Court this year for our 10th Anniversary!!! Court winners must sell $750.00 in Ads and they will receive the
following…2 pages of pictures in the book, special recognition at revue & in book, small tiara, flowers and a trophy at the revue, WILL PERFORM IN THE
DADDY DAUGHTER DANCE IN THE REVUE, special gift at the studio banquet, 1 month free tuition ($40.00 value) for the following year, $10 coupon for
any summer camp at Steppin` Out, 2 additional FREE tickets for the dance revue & beginning of the line for ticket sales only behind Cover Girl, 1st
Runner Up, 2nd Runner Up & Steppin` Out Staff. There will be NO LIMIT to how many court members we will have. As long as you sell $750 in ads, you are
a court member!!! You may see next page for details on what all winners will win!
Cover Girl/Boy, Court & Top Ten Winners will receive the following:
Cover Girl/Boy- (Must sell a minimum of $2000 in ads to win)
This is awarded to the student/siblings that sell the MOST dollar amount in ads. We DO allow siblings to share the title as long as they live under the same
roof and the ads are being sold by the same parent. Meaning…if two different families are selling ads separately, you cannot combine the sales to win
Cover Girl/Boy. But if one parent is selling all the ads, he/she will NOT have to choose between their children to be Cover Girl/Boy. We do not think this is
fair to the parent. This deal is NOT offered to cousins & close family members, ONLY siblings!
-Special dance with Ms. April in the Opening Number in the Revue
-Free tuition for the next year (10 months)àUp to $40.00 per month
-Free summer camp of your choice (non-transferable)
-6 additional free tickets for 2011 Revue
-Presented with large plaque, large tiara & roses at the Revue

-Presented with medium size plaque, tiara & roses at the Revue

Cover Girl/Boy & Ad Contest Rules:
-Each ad must be accompanied by an AD FORM
-Please DO NOT staple ads to the ad forms (paper clips preferred)
-If you want to included any special graphics or photos, please save them on a disc and include it with your ad information. If you turn things in separately,
we will NOT be held responsible for mistakes made to ads. So please turn everything in at the same time.
-Once the ad is submitted, we cannot guarantee that changes can be made. You may put in a request to make changes, but we will not be held
responsible for mistakes.
-Personal ads must be made payable to CASH or paid with cash/money order.
-Business ads may be made payable to Steppin` Out or may be paid in cash.
-If your ad does not make it into the book for any reason, a cash refund WILL NOT be issued. You will instead receive a credit for the following year
program which will DOUBLE the size of your ad. Error replacement ads DO NOT go towards the follow years Ad contest totals since they received credit for
them the following year. Remember, mistakes do happen and we will do whatever we can to fix it. We will also have a special book made for your family if
any special personal ads were left out of the book. Business ads will be doubled the following year.
-All ad money MUST be turned in with ads. NO EXCEPTIONS!!! If your ad money is NOT turned in with the ad before the contest deadline, you WILL NOT
receive credit towards Cover Girl/Boy or Court placement.
-We do not go and pick up you ads. You may email them or have them mailed to studio, but we will not pick them up for you. If you want to email them, you
MUST make sure you fill out an Ad Form ad check at the bottom “Emailed Ad Info”. You must do this to ensure your ad makes it into the book. When we
do the final check of the book, we go off of the Ad Forms. So if you do not fill one out, we CANNOT guarantee your ad will make it into the book. This is
how mistakes happen!!
-Ms. April reserves the right to make corrections or improvements on any ads. She will create most ads from scratch unless you have a preference. You
must note ANY preferences on your ad forms. Make sure to highlight or circle anything that you do not want her to miss.
-All ads must be turned in by Thursday, March 31, 2011 no later than 7:00pm!!! If you turn ads in later than this, they will NOT be counted for the Cover
Girl/Boy Contest or Court Winners. You must turn them in on time for your ad totals to count!

***We will be doing ticket sales the same way we did last year, so you will be able to purchase tickets in the order of your ad sales total. Those
who sell the most will be at the front of the line, and those who sell the least will be at the back of the line. So SELL, SELL, SELL!!!***
We will have a meeting for all new parents that want more details about the Ad Contest. The meeting will be WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 2ND, 5:30-6:30PM
at the studio. If you are confused about anything, we suggest that you attend the meeting. Thanks & Good Luck!!!
